Sculpture

These sculptures, completed in 1986, have two components: figures (male and female nudes cast in bronze and finished with a light, blue-green patina) and the bases on which they are situated. The bases are cast fiberglass reinforced concrete (rusticated and tinted with acrylic). The original models are rigid foam and balsa wood. The sculptures are a combination of figure and base, the organic and geometric moving to Wilson’s choreography--a dance that proposes an ideal, slightly futuristic relationship between man and architecture.
